in full bloom

2 more days and I'm off to London, so my mind is all things British right now. Topshop, Dover Street Market, Vivienne Westwood, Portobello Road, Gordon Ramsay, fish n' chips... and of course my beloved Liberty fabrics. Since its collaboration with Nike dunks last year (which are one of my prized possessions), the iconic print house has been linked with other fashion units such as Cacharel and Kate Moss for Topshop, drawing attention to the Liberty (or Liberty-esque) prints once again. Mini floral prints (part grandma's wallpaper part children's picnic clothes) are coming back this spring, and they seem to appear on everywhere - from the usual summer frocks to bloomers to even Dr. Marten's! Men are not exempt from the pretty little flowers either - check out the skinny Liberty ties by Steven Alan. Chic in true British gentleman style and not a tad bit feminine at all - at least in my opinion. Now the question is how to get the boyf to wear one of those......
