Pardon me for being a tad bit late to celebrate the 40th anniversary of mankind's first landing on the moon... I just came across these drawings on WWD today, done by a group of under-40 young fashion designers. The Mulleavy's sisters' sketch of Le Petit Prince on the smiley moon is just sooooo darn cute I had to share it! Also next to it is Erin Fetherston's moonwalking little white dress. Gorge.
That was a giant leap that Neil Armstrong took, apparently even for the fashion world.
