star chameleon
Oh Natalie Portman. I can't say I'm a huge fan of hers and actually I don't really know anyone who is. 'Straight-edged', 'boring', 'smarty pants', seem to be the adjectives commonly associated with her, but then again, we always assume too much about celebrities and pretend that we know what they're like (... "they're just like us!"). Honestly, besides her Israeli background and Harvard education, all I know is that she's a pretty amazing actress, with a strikingly unique face. Her features stand out no matter what character she's playing or what hairstyle she's sporting - whether she's playing the wife of a Hasidic Jew wearing a wig (in New York, I Love You), an anarchist ally with a shaved head (in V for Vendetta), or Padme Admidala wearing the most ridiculous headpieces (in Star Wars). She manages to look flawlessly beautiful in every occasion, as in this V Magazine cover shoot, donning a James Dean hair rock-and-roll style.
